whoa... USF is a 21.5 point favorite over ECU??

FYI-- I've been to ECU several times. For those unfamiliar with the school, it is located on the east end of North Carolina in the town of Greenville. It is a bout a 2 hour drive from Raleigh on the interstate that runs through the middle of NC. The first two times we played them on the road, they slated us as their homecoming game. We won both times, ending a HC winning streak that was a decade long iirc.

One other thing to note-- while ECU did beat NC, they did so while there were 13 (reported) players of the North Carolina team on suspension for the game. NC is decent enough otherwise - they are holding their own against Pitt currently. This game may not be a blow out. We will see. I am feeling less confident about us just running them over to be honest.

granted I didn't know which city they were in, but in terms of market size & national recognition, Tampa > Greenville by a mile.

i mean, we play in Raymond James Stadium... where a tiny NFL team called the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (& the GOAT Fitzmagic) play. you'd kinda think having "Tampa Bay" all over the stadium would tip them off.

maybe I've been in Florida too long, but I guess I took it for granted that Miami is the last metro area before hitting Havana. lol.

maybe they think USF is in Cuba
