there wasn't a single wide reciever/bubble screen pass, even attempted. (correct me if I'm wrong, but if I was they were extremely minimal).

Wonder what the thinking was there? Maybe the coaches saw something in the tape during the week. It's been such an integral part of our offense since Willie went to the GCO.

We had one early in first half worked good and never tried again.

We also need to pass to Cronk he was good catching ball at UF.

Lovie plays a Cover 2 man which mitigates WR screens. The intermediate routes are where the opportunities were.

Must be it. Seemed to take away a dimension of our offense. There was some suspect playcalling, especially a sweep on 3rd and long if I recall.

Didn't BB have one batted down at the line in the second quarter intended for McCants? I think it was in the sequence where two consecutive balls got knocked down at the LOS.

With the CB pressing WR at the line it’s hard to hit those bubble screens. The TE in the seam beats that defense, and that’s where Wilcox had a big game. Also the occasional busted coverages to Salomon and St. Felix.

If you remember, cover 2 leaves the TE wide open behind the LB and in front of the safety.

We had a total of 4 batted balls.

After the first screen to McCants they pressed him and any Slot receiver the rest of the game. The only bubble opps we had were to Wilcox, But they brought a safety down at the snap almost every time.
