Yeah, McCants seems to always catch the ball (an occasional drop) and with his size the NFL is looking at him for sure. Always need a possession receiver that ahs the size to go over the middle.

Did we have any totals for the number of possessions by each team in this game?

and he is deceptively shifty & quick.

he slipped a tackle early in the game that you'd never expect a 240 lb. guy to do.

True, but I think his effort today was special. Running those back, back to back and still catching another one. That was one of the best personal feats of the day.

BB was a monster as well

Maybe, gave up the QB run in favor of the QB pass. Oliver didn't throw the ball once, so do you need the throwing threat or the running threat? Tough call for the coach.

Exactly, we forced them out of their game and they had to pass, which is a clear weakness.

that's really the only way to be a triple option team.  you're not going to keep them from rushing for a lot of yards.  You limit their possessions and win the turnover battle.

YOU HAVE TO COUNT KICK OFF RETURNS FOR TDs AS POSSESSIONS

those scores count and are official possessions of the ball-- otherwise, who gets the score? We did.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
