QB Battle Still A Hot Topic For USF As Fall Camp Opens Tonight

Head coach Charlie Strong will start his second season with the USF Bulls in their first practice of fall camp tonight. With the season opener now less than a month away many are still wondering who is going to fill former USF quarterback Quinton Flowers’ shoes?

During Spring practices, USF saw battles between junior Brett Kean and sophomore Chirs Oladokun. In fact, as both competed to fill the vacant spot many thought Kean, who served as a backup to Flowers, was going to be named the confident starter.

They saying Kean is suspended for the 1st 4 games. They must not know it is alleged.

It takes a minimum of 5 sources to confirm things like this and Nathan only had four, including Kean.

Barnett should have the inside track on this battle.  5 star recruit and 2 years playing with top talent.  Perfect scenario for a guy to step back in level of competition and put up some good numbers

1 year right?  But guys have walked into a new team and had success before.  Jeff Driskell from UF to La Tech comes to mind.

Kean doesn't really have that much more experience.  I'm not sure why she keeps alluding to that.
