I don't know that  he said it was great but I'd assuming what he's referencing is when Strong said a 9-2 season and losing to UCF was not a failure.

This is absolutely what some want him to do and say, but the coach they want is still at Alabama for the next few years.

I knew strong wasn't a good coach the day we played them. He made some terrible decisions in that game and was  out coached by none other than skip holtz. he beat a 3-9 USF squad by 2 points.

They beat an 0-12 southern miss team by 3 points.

 

his only conference champ was a 4 way split.

I knew what you were talking about, just pointed out that they lost to FIU on another occasion, and just wanted to throw Cristobal's name out there, as I think he could work out well for us.

BTW, that FIU team beat Louisville and UCF in back to back weeks...

Great pregame quotes. Sounds like they were saying it was ok to lose. great mindset to have coming into that game...
