It's the same level of competition. Same conference. Competition doesn't account for a 75 jump in placement.

Eh, could be that he has to console a large group of seniors that probably feel like they got punched in the gut today. Maybe out of respect for them, he's not going the not satisfied route. That's a "next year" mentality and these guys deserve to be celebrated, not shoved aside for next year.

My point is I would not call this defense dominant. Yes they were good but they had many flaws at LB and gap control late in games.

I really don’t feel this defense was any good. Our level of competition went way down from last year. Anytime we played a semi-decent offense we got big points put up. We still got torched every time we needed a huge stop

defense probably not as good as their stats, but, 1000x better than last year. Huge 4th down stops tonight. CWT didn't really recruit defenders, but, with the same talent as last year, Strong and BJM made huge strides.
