It is because the ranking used is the CFP ranking which is on Tuesday night. I guess there isn’t enough time between that ranking and the Saturday CCG. Not saying I agree, just that’s how the tiebreaker is written.

So it's possible the true higher seed isn't hosting the CCG. That's just crazy to me. No reason the CFP poll should take until Tuesday to release though to be honest.
It's all moot point anyways, I don't think any of this will matter.

Well that will be a bummer when we host a ccg and will probably cause some problems ... especially if they aren't more than emphatic of that when selling ccg tix to those STH's outside those sections but have Club access for reg season games.

We did speak with the conference about this and they wanted to keep it to the sections that are listed in the e-mail.

It is not considered a "home" game even if we host.

I do recall CCS mentioning the fact that a few fans made tentative, fully refundable travel plans to Atlanta as the reason Houston was able to convert on 4th and 24.

The Houston loss has had no effect on the Atlanta trip this year .... CCS needs to be more astute.

Why do they wait until Tuesday. Is it to come up with excuses to counter their prejudices?

What's exciting to me is it is December 2 and I may be in the Tampa area on that date.
