Head coach Charlie Strong on the Bulls' overall performance:
"We can improve, we can get much better. We haven't arrived yet. I think sometimes that's what we think and we have to get rid of that attitude. We have to start thinking ahead in a different direction."

"We don't know how far we can go. We haven't yet put together a complete game on offense, on defense and in the kicking game. It hasn't happened yet. When we get that to happen, we'll see what type of team we really are."

I think if the playcalling on offense was better we would have had a complete game by now. Too inconsistent at times.

CCS speaks the truth.  However, special teams nightmares have been fixed.  Defense is usually dominant except for the ECU game so not sure there.  On offense the play calling is pure vanilla extract at times.  Where are the misdirection and sweeps that leave QF open to run 40 yards?  Why run up the middle constantly in the red zone?  Why do we make jokes when a TE rarely catches a pass like it is a freak occurrence?

Ecu qb played out of his mind being dragged down and making passes...we shut them down second half and did so to cincy that has a decent offense.

It almost feels like Gilbert is doing a rope a dope again till maybe UCF game.
