I'm now of the mindset that I just want to see us both rise. If we beat a ranked UCF team on the road and then the AAC title we aren't going to lose the NY6 spot

Not sure if you can rely on ECU as a good barometer of what teams are capable of strength-wise. So many of the teams in the AAC are having down years this season that you get a bunch of changes from week to week. Better than nothing but not exactly telling.

The only games I could see ucf losing before we play them are @navy and @smu. The others shouldn't be a huge challenge for them

I believe at this point the. AAC and New Year's Bowl bid comes down to the Black Friday game. 

I don't see either team losing more than once in conference  before that game and if they do, it is like last year, comes down to head to head.

Even if SDSU is undefeated, Their wins, with the exception of maybe Stanford, have been unimpressive and just squeaking by at last minute.  Maybe a little better competition, but our wins have been dominant as have UCF's.  

As far as I can see, it is a 2 team race .
