Kierston Johnson reports on instagram that he’s out for the season with a fractured sternum, but he’s getting a medical redshirt.

INJURY UPDATE: Coach Charlie Strong indicated Monday the status of two injured Bulls -- slot WR Deangelo Antoine and LB Andre Polk Jr. -- remains uncertain for Saturday's noon game at East Carolina. Polk is dealing with a knee injury; Antoine's ailment hasn't been disclosed.

"They'll be practicing," Strong said during the AAC weekly coaches teleconference. "So we go out (Tuesday) and we'll just see exactly where we are with the two of them, and just work in during the practices and see how much we get out of 'em."

We'll be okay for this game, then the bye should help recover any short-term injuries in time for Cincy. Just don't need to lose anymore.

It's just fortunate this didn't hit us in a position that's already thin.
