On the G5 playoff, who here is going to watch an 12-1 USF team host a sunbelt team in the G5 semifinals? What's TV going to pay for that?

I'd watch it. As far as TV goes, are the FCS  playoffs not televised?

It's a decent argument. I just don't really see how it can get that much worse, as long as we don't add a new designation to FBS and FCS.

But don't you see that's what the BM was advocating in that article that was posted on page 7?  He's basically calling us a "division" now ...

He also said that a G5 could still make the current CFP. And I'm talking about a designated NCAA division.

The AAC commissioner has been adamant that the conference will never support nor participate in a G5 playoff.
