It seems to me like Charlie Strong is making a statement with the uniforms. The statement being, "let's focus on football and not the uniforms."

I also have to believe that the Gold helmet, Green jersey, Green pants combo is no coincidence. To me that was our classic uni combo back in the day. Granted, the Gold has now changed to Gold/Chrome, and the pants now have stripes etc.

I'm guessing that CSS remembers the old unis and may be trying to bring back tradition.

Also, since the school that basically started the different uni every game concept was Oregon, I think CSS wants to be the opposite of that since CWT went there.

I have no facts to support this, but it makes sense to me.

I think this is our uniform for all year folks!  I think we might mix in a white SoFlo helmet at some point (maybe for HC or the Veterans Game), but aside from those, this is it.  Enjoy it Bulls fans!  As long as we win, I could care less.

I love the gold-green-green setup. However, I strongly dislike the chrome we now have for our gold helmet and I am not a fan of the current style of green jerseys and pants. The all green SoFlos were legit last year. But I suspect CCS does not like the flair of SoFlo. I heard he even punched his 4th grade teacher when she tried to teach him cursive.

I would agree with CSS, the SoFlo is fine for one game a year but please god no way as a perminant uniform. I do wish we had the green matted helmets but with a regular size U.
