Every year each team starts out as a brand new team. That is what makes college football so interesting. Teams that do well don't and others that were not on the radar have a great year. We had a complete coaching staff change and some players. Not thrilled but I expected some challenges. Let's see how the coaches and players handle this. Here are the other results from teams that were ranked (or received votes) against Division I-AA foes: I also graded USF harsher because it was their second underwhelming performance. Coaches usually tell you that a team makes the biggest growth between the first game and the second one.
