Jitters

Am I the only one with jitters about this game?  Away opener with new coaching staff and a huge #19 by our name is a lot of pressure on 18-22 year olds.  Win and the ranking is justified and we start the slow climb to NY6 possibility.  Lose, and we won't sniff the Top 25 for months.  And I just remember too clearly the last time we had a new coaching staff.  I still think we win, but I still got those jitters...anyone else feeling the need to do some anti-jinxing?

Start of a new season I always get nervous...but cannot wait to kickoff!

Charlie Strong is going to want to bounce back from being fired and we have a senior laden team whos played a lot of football.  this isnt san diego state.  Just need to get through the game injury free.

There are 25 teams full of 18-22 year olds with a number next to their name. They'll be fine. Coach Strong has helped prepare a lot of Top 25 teams.

I don't think pressure will be a factor. Mack and Adams were human highlight reels so it's all about whether we can do the same in Gilbert's system.

Yeah I'm incredibly nervous to see how the offense has changed... seems like the play book is more simplified this year. Hope that's a good thing.

We are 1-4 in Away game openers.  The lone win was at Notre Dame.

Nah. They have a new coaching staff, coming off a bad year with a defense that was worse than ours. 

I also think the coach is a first time head coach plus they have little to zero experience at QB. 

My only concerns are injuries and seeing how improved the defense is.
