It should be conservative.  You don't want to show your cards until the games that matter most.

Problem is, we got down by 2 TDs early had to climb out.  Their defensive speed has pretty much neutralized our biggest asset.  We are definitely more talented but SJSU came to play and they certainly deserved better than a vanilla game plan.  

Thing is, in the first game, sometimes it takes some time to figure that out.

You have to put up as many points as possible every game. That type thinking is good if you're in the P5. Being where we are, we have to put up 50 plus a game.
