Surprised with Chris Barr being number 1 slot and McCants being so low. Must be because of missing spring ball.

That is extremely disappointing considering McCants is probably our best receiver. I was never impressed with Barr or Antoine.

Not a huge fan of Johnson doing both Kick and Punt returns...

McCants at 235 seems heavy. Maybe out of shape and slower?

Don't believe so, an article was written about him.  He says he is the same and they are using him as a difference maker because of his size (weight).

McCants and Salomon are disappointing as long as its not one of those need more effort kind of depth charts.

Yep.

The coaches plan to exploit that frame -- and fleetness -- by putting McCants in the slot, where he's likely to out-muscle most defenders he encounters.

"He's a bigger, stockier kid for being inside at the slot, but that's obviously a position we like him in," offensive coordinator Sterlin Gilbert said Thursday. "He's able to apply pressure on people with his size, and it's kind of a mismatch sometimes with either nickels or DBs out there."

Running a play every 12 seconds means lots of plays for everyone.

Isn't Barr our quickest WR?  I like him to replace Rodneys speed.  Surprised Stanley Clerveaux is ahead of Soloman.  Also not liking DJ and Tice being our options as kick returns.  Seems like a good place to use Antoine or Jordan Reed

Clerveaux has alot of potential, saw him at practice and he popped out at me, surprised by nichols being the nickel back and that sawtelle was able to hold of polk and thomas at lb...also surprised that Mays is starting at RT

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
