But here's a question for you. What is our record last year with no Adams? No Mack? No QF?

Historically, our receivers haven't fumbled much because they haven't caught the ball when it was thrown to them. But point taken.

We do the worst with no QF. I believe that. Surely there are structural issues with the QB position, and other backups (or lack thereof at the QB position) that influence those numbers, and perhaps that's part of your point, but we've drifted a bit away from question if so. New coach's, lose two out of the three most explosive play makers on the team. It could easily happen. I have us going 11-1 though. Agreed. We might have the talent to run the table, but so did Houston last year, and they managed 3 conference losses, with 4 losses overall in which they were probably favored to win. Would be really disappointing though not to win the conference this year, as this is probably the most favorable situation we've ever had, with any semi-difficult (on paper) opponents at home.

Only problem with that analysis is that those nonconference wins were huge and took something away from Hoston (perhaps their highs were too high for them to handle). Looking at our out of conference schedule I don't see that problem occurring.
