He has said that he also plans on playing baseball here.

So, he's not a baseball commit, but thought I should mention that.

Garabitos threw a one-hit shutout with 13 Ks for Lakewood Ranch vs. Manatee in the district semifinals on Tuesday. Gotta keep this kid away from MLB and on campus next year.

His stat line this year according to MaxPreps: 70.2 IP, 39 HITS, 1 ER, 12 BB, 90 K

Glad my eyes got steered here from the main index page.

This team is going to change a lot after this season.  There are a handful of seniors and a number of draft-eligible juniors.  While I want to enjoy the rest of this season, this sensational class constructed by Mark Kingston is going to be hard to duplicate.  I hope we retain some of the juniors, but Coach Mohl is going to have to be efficient and impactful restocking the dugout.
