UCONN will be eyeing Laksa all night so the other guards will have to be knocking down shots to force UCONN to guard Laksa 1-1 instead of double or triple teaming her. We must also keep the turnovers down below 5 and knock down free throws if we are going to have any chance of the upset

UConn always had the 5s that ate our lunch down low. Like was previously mentioned, it is nice to be able to score in different ways.

It will be interesting to see if CJF, at some point in the game, puts Jazz Bond on her former teammate, freshman sensation, PG Crystal Dangerfield. Jazz is 6'4" and Crystal is barely 5'6". They have played together since they were seven. If anybody knows Crystal's game and tendencies, it would be Jazz. That would also give us some added size and another 3-point shooter. As for USF, the program graduated its own notable senior trio of Courtney Williams, Alisia Jenkins and Shalethia Stringfield. “Just hearing the fact that we lost our three big starters and all the questions that we’ve been asked about it, it just fires us up and makes us want to prove ourselves,” Laksa said. “We’re a new team and it’s all about proving that we can play without Courtney Williams and the rest.” According to Laksa, the Bulls are out to prove more than just that on Tuesday against UConn. “We want to prove that we’re a team that can play close and even win against them,” she said. “The mentality that is on our team is that we can play anyone, anytime. I don’t think UConn is unbeatable." Read more at: http://www.excellesports.com/news/usf-uconn-kitija-laksa-ncaa/

We MUST have an answer to having Laksa shut down!

No chance to win up there now,but end of the year at our house just maybe we can pull off the upset. Hope i am all wrong would love to see this group shock the country.
