I imagine this game doesn't move the needle for them.  A disappointing season capped with a potential loss to a G5 team probably doesn't get the competitive juices flowing for a fan base with an inflated opinion of their program....

Plus ... you know there's usually that ONE fan who would come onto the opponent's message board and be that guy ... I find it sort of sad that SC doesn't appear to have any of those fans.

We can Only hope Cocky Jay is just delayed due to a busy holiday schedule.

Would love to have someone from South Carolina come on to discuss which program has the largest gap between inflated fan perceptions and reality. That argument should be close, the game wont be.

Listened to their sports radio a week or so back when I was driving through the pine barrens of South Carolina. Specifically, as it was Columbia, the Gamecocks. Absolutely no, zero, na da, enthusiasm for this game. Yah! We've got one more game against some G5 team! Woo Hoo! Can't wait. Are there anymore biscuits left? 

I'd be careful bandying about the term "inflated fan perceptions and reality"..mainly because this is The Bulls Pen. :FIREdevil:
