Nope.   Football gets many times more attention than basketball, even on basketball's best day.

True but he said "best" hire, not most attention grabbing hire. 2 Final Fours are a better resume than 2 conference championships and a BCS bowl win, even if that victory was over the stinkin Gators.

Best hire for the university is the one that garners the most nationwide eyeballs, IMO.
