The best hire ever at USF was Lee Rose.  For those of you that don't know that name and claim to be a USF fan, shame on you.

Was thinking the same thing so I went and checked on CLR's resume ..... 2 Final Fours .... winner hands down. Knew he was a name before he came here but not that big.

What do you mean by "didn't do much at USF"?  I guess a case of you don't know what you don't know.  

Rose built a pretty good basketball team from nothing, but far beyond that he gave USF sports...ALL USF sports legitimacy in the big time college sports world.  Without Lee Rose you would not have the Sun Dome.  

If you don't know about Lee Rose or the history of USF sports, it is highly recommended to read Tony Grier's book "A Raging Bull".  Sure hope people know who Tony is.
