Did I read that Willie is taking none of his coaches?

Am i in a minority thinking coaches are not game changers? Quinton/Mack/Flowers are the reason our offense was so dynamic, stick a different qb in there how many games do we win? Bridgewater is the reason Louisville was dynamic, there was no Teddy at Texas and there is no Q at oregon....give me a great recruiting coach and im happy

Wow, this is so wrong, I'm just going to refer you to Bum Phillips talking about Bear Bryant, "He can take his'n and beat your'n and take your'n and beat his'n"

Great talent can hide bad coaches as much as great coaches can hide bad talent.

My experience from high school athletics is that coaches can make a HUGE difference in performance from the same players. It's not that they have more able players, it's that they know tricks and techniques and how to teach them that other coaches don't. Small differences implemented across a program and in training add up to a huge difference in team's performance.

I've heard Shaun King will be going with him.

Yep, I heard the same thing.  From a source I trust.

But in college, the coaches recruit the talent.

With any level, including high school, its about managing the personalities and clearly defining what you expect your players to do.  Then utilizing the players in the position they are most effective.  Coaching is about fundamentals and getting humans to perform their best.   Some humans need to feel comfortable, some need to be mad, some get bored if they do the same thing over and over, etc.  The "trick" is more psychological than tactical, usually.
