If another job offers me life changing money, I'm gone tomorrow. This is the life of not being in a P5 program.

Lets just thank him for making our football program relevant again :iconic_u_black::GoBulls:

I 100% blame him for this decision. Who else should I blame?

I cut back thinking the stick around 100% when that statement about winning and people still not showing up and covering the team was made. Add in no Big 12 and he was gone. This job wasn't what he thought it was going to be. Sad but true.

100% ↑

Do you think he went looking? Who made the first call?

I work for a friend first, and he's the boss second. If someone called and offered me twice what I make now to do the same thing... I hope we could still be friends.

Of course not if somebody offered me double or triple income I'd be gone in a second.

Even P5 teams lose coaches to the top P5 teams.

If we keep losing coaches I'm ok with that.  Will mean program is winning.  This program with good recruiting and decent coach should always be doing well in AAC.

He went looking. That whole interview says it all. He came here from WKU to not have do all the extras. Do you're job, build a strong team and the support will come.

That didn't happen. Add in awful local coverage that could be done by 1st grader and the high profile job he thought it could create was non existent. Don't blame the man, but just like CJL and CSH NEXT.

Would a better way to put it be "Can't fault Taggart for his decision?"

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
