Man. Holston is a terrible free throw shooter

Watched the last half of the 2nd thought they might blow it but they held on. Two games in a row with a great first half and that is better than last year. Troy also beat us last year. So far this team is better than last year's edition. Also nice job on the line, it was the difference in this game.

Just not really all that deep, it looks like we're running out of gas and that's kinda understandable. It's a lot to expect of our guys, but they're winning these early games and that's at least something.

We're playing bad teams, let's not get ahead of ourselves. That said, winning here was unexpected, especially on the road.

So exhibition season is over so now we get a little more of a feel for what we're going to look like during conf play .... Anybody know what game Manderson activates for?

A win is a win. Santos has been a pleasant surprise recently, but Guerrero has been a disappointment so far. Hopefully when we get McMurray back we will have fresher legs going into the second half and a shooter who can knock down a jumper from anywhere on the court.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."
