No, I didn't really.  I know he was pretty passionate about the Bulls and recruiting.  We exchanged messages now and then, but I didn't get to know him personally.  

As a rule, I don't try to figure out who people are - real names, etc. - but I get to know many through side conversations. 

I wasn't aware of his passing.  That is sad.  Reminder to make things better while we're here on earth.

His passing has not been verified, just assumed. Still possibility that he could just be incapacitated or had an epiphany and realized this whole internet thing is pure evil.
