Stubhub doesn't really solve our problem. Stubhub is a secondary market so tickets have to actually be purchased from the school/ ticketmaster by someone first before they're listed on there.

Then that is more reason to give away the product for one season to have people try the experience.

We are still a young program.

We need to win and engage these folks so when they graduate they have fond memories and return.

Students who suffer through years of losing are less likely to return IMO.

Sorry, but improving fan support is a process, not a gimmick.

How does that work for the students?  They actually have paid for the tickets...but "free-admission" hasn't worked well.

Students are not the biggest problem though. They can max out at 9k all they want. Unless alumni and more importantly the Tampa community come we will never have sufficient attendance. More specifically, unless the Tampa community (non alumni) look at USF as Tampa's team there will be problems. I am not necessarily saying this idea will work but whatever is done the focus needs to be more on non alumni in my opinion.

But two years of winning is apparently not enough

You for the win!

This is the one season where we NEED to win the bowl game. Has nothing to do with rankings either.

And our tickets honestly don't even get that cheap on Stubhub because there isn't a supply of tickets to list on there in the first place because no one buys them on the primary market.

Have a friend that came to a few games this year.  He usually pays $10 on Stub Hub max.

We aren't the only team with these issues.  SMU's OCS was pulling in $9 on Stub Hub for mid field tix.

Agreed, I will be there. Hope we get a good crowd and victory to set up for next year.

His argument is that the students who are here currently will come back to the games as alumni. These two winning seasons won't help a poor football experience of former students.

Let's be honest, would an OCS be better for us?

Does UCF pull more fans to their stadium (with better tailgating and atmosphere) -- when they have a winning season?

They just went 0 - 12... How many of our fans would show up after a 0 - 12 season?
