Chill guys, what about my post says I don't appreciate his accomplishments? Of course I do. He's responsible for probably 3 of our top 5 wins ever. The point is his comments a few weeks ago were very "remember me" and against this year's team, and not something you'd expect to hear from a former program hero. Be honest with yourselves and tell me I'm wrong about that.

Resiliency. For as bad as our D is this year we have pulled out these close games unlike any Bulls team has in the past. And I refuse to believe the competition back then was significantly better than

I don't really agree with your original post.  But I do agree that MG opened himself up to this sort of response with his immature antics a few weeks ago degrading this year's team.

Bulls were up 35-0 w/8 seconds to go in the half.  Grothe took off around the left side and tore it on about the 40 yard line.  I was about 15 rows up dead in front of him.  The game was over and he should not have been out there.  That is 100% coaching decision.

Reality is that his ACL was more than likely already partially torn or weak.  If not that game then one soon thereafter.
