Time for a change as of next year. Not during the season. I have been trying to be patient with him. We are lucky we have an explosive offense bc otherwise we may have a .500 record.

If CWT is to be believed, it ain't happening, now or after the season.

He can do it and claim "I said 'coach' not 'coordinator'"

And with a competent defense we would more than likely be 9-1 and in control of our destiny towards the CCG and a conference championship.

Also, with a more well rounded team we more likely than not would be ranked.

Instead, we are playing to roll up offensive stats.

We are back on track as a program. Next step is to take a next step up.

I'm going with 10-0 instead of 9-1. Every. Single. Game. we put up more than enough points needed to win. With an average defense, we would be borderline unstoppabull(see what I did there). This offense has to play near perfect every game to get us wins.

With a mid 50 defense we would be 10-0 maybe 9-1 with this offense. The offense is the reason we are 8-2 and has scored 30+ every game this season. As far as Woody goes Taggart isn't making any changes with only 2 games left. He can't it would cause problems for anyone that might be the DC next year

I know we are winning, but this team is hard for me to watch.

Not for me I love my USF Bulls being 8-2

I know it isn't normal, but just stating my opinion. The quality of defense is so bad, that it almost feels like I am not watching real football.

I am glad we somehow keep winning though. That said, the games are not fun for me to watch and I flip around to other games now. I need to supplement with actual defense sometimes. Anyway, I'll be there for UCF and hope Temple loses.

Looking back at the game last night I did see a few defensive positives. Let me preface this with this defense has to improve to just be a poor defense.

1- DE set the edge much better. Memphis RBs weren't getting wide but did find the middle between the DT and DE. LBs have to step up and make that tackle.

2- For the first time in weeks it appeared that the DL was in position to make plays and just didn't make them. Probably a half dozen TFLs that they missed on. The last few weeks they haven't even been in position.

3- The DL did get some pressure on Ferguson but they design rolled away from that very well. If the LBs were faster they could have gotten to their QB on those roll outs but the LBs kept getting caught in no man's land.

4- Nichols did show some signs of playing like he did last season. The first time all year.

5- Senat, outside that face mask, played like he has all year. Doing his job and waiting for the LBs  to come in and clean up which doesn't happen.

In case you can't tell I'm really down on the LB play.

The problem is that we only have 2 of them out there.
