You have to think UT, Baylor, TTU and TCU vote as a block. So no one gets in without Texas approval.

I would think all those little schools would be more worried about themselves if the big 12 goes under....

Would make sense to go into Florida and a travel partner for WVU, so I hope they go to 4

So UT was pro UH, would OK vote against UT? If not, you would have to assume OKS would vote for. So they maybe need only two more yea votes...

If the fox and espn are of the same opinion and offer money not to expand I think it's a done deal as No. I could also see them blowing smoke and offering little other than saying its dilution betting on no expansion and no payout cause they be greedy. Otherwise for the stability of the conference in the near term, it makes sense to expand.

I think Texas is but they will act through their minions.

It seems pretty clear that unless everyone is just making stuff up, there will be no expansion.

I think the last minute statement by FOX is to try one last time to try to influence the President not to expand.  I think someone will get an invite today

I don't see Houston getting in.  It doesn't benefit the Texas schools in the slightest.  I think their "support" was a smokescreen to try to show Texas solidarity but when it doesn't happen, they can still say they tried.

If the votes become public, then I could very well be wrong, but I'm not buying the Texas schools' support of Houston in the conference.

I think they should start the meeting with the fact that an undefeated Baylor or WVU will not get invited to playoff this year...  Then they should discuss why a 12 or 14 conference with a earned league championship gets you an extra game and legitimate shot at playoff.   Drop the mic.
