Yeah I think with Cosh we didn't get a Int till like game 8 or something.

I will say Woodie did a good job for the second half adjustments.

One nitpicky detail.  On the play where we recovered the fumble I believe it was 3rd and 3 and the ball went to a receiver in motion running from the edge back inside to the slot.  Our defender was at least 10 yards off him.  On a THIRD AND 3!!!!  Fortunately we forced and recovered a fumble there.

We simply can't afford to have that far off their man on 3rd and short.  I don't know why we don't just jam the WRs at the line since contact is allowed within 5 yards. I think we are so afraid of giving up the explosive play that we allow those dink and dunks, even on short down/distance.

We've got to figure something like that out ... We can't keep allowing these easy first downs.

Only 136 yards surrendered in the second half. Clearly this defense needs to play with a lead.  Great second half adjustments,  glad a lot of you aren't in control or Woodie would have been fired at halftime.

The second half looked better... got some very fortunate breaks. First turn over we completely sold out on the come back route - that receiver turns up field and it is an easy six the other way. Second turn over is 3rd and 5, we sit 12 yards off the line of scrimmage and literally concede the first down! We then fail to make the tackle and take advantage of the receiver trying to do too much in open field. Not to take anything away from a great hustle play - but we have big troubles on defense.

Competition drops a bit for a while - so hopefully we have time to get some things together. Difference between this week and last week was offense was able to hang around long enough waiting for the defense to show up!

I guess I should never underestimate the ability of TBP to overreact.

I don't think it is an overreaction.  Remember we are going for the championship this year...

Ill give Woodie credit 4 the 2nd half, but we can have teams score 4 consecutive touchdowns on us.

Outstanding halftime adjustments and the D showed up in the second half.  Safe travels home fellas.

Go Bulls!

I wonder if we start seeing some more help to tackle against the run next time.
