After watching the first three games and some of last years games it seems to me Mccants is more of a playmaker than Bronson. Bronson does his job and has good size it seems Mccants attacks the ball and makes plays.  He doesnt need a perfectly thrown ball to catch where it seems Bronson does not move to the ball if it does not come to him. THoughts?

They are different types of receivers. The big reason Bronson is getting the start is that he is 6'3" and has a crazy long wingspan. Hard to compete with that size. Don't think you'll get much argument that McCants may technically be the more skilled pass catcher.

I'd still start Bronson over McCants. Better hands, big body, and seems close in speed, even if he seems stiff when he runs. McCants is just more agile, but we are lucky to have so many guys at the position

Bronson has also been a solid blocker on those WR screens

Bronson is more a speed guy that can stretch the defense...the defense has to respect Bronson because at any time he could take one 70 + yards for a td.

I would prefer to see more McCants though over Barr.

this is awesome!  When's the last time we could talk about the top 3-5 WRs at this talent level?

And we haven't even seen Soloman.  Or Clarveaux.

Air it out!  But wait, we have a trio of stud RBs.

Giddy

I was going to say earlier today, as I read this on my phone, this is a great topic.  Very astute observation and question.  Thanks for bringing it up Bullrush33.  Hard to answer, but I am leaning toward McCants.  But that's a 51-49 deal.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
