How can we complain, we haven't beat anyone yet. None of the teams we have won against have my FBS wins.

Joey Knight, Jeff Miller, and Tom Murphy all voted us #24.

Sam McKewon voted us #25.

I wondered about SD St, too, since our win over NIU was much more convincing.  But, SDSU beat Cal, who just beat #11 Texas.

Oklahoma & Ole MIss at 1-2 staying ranked pisses me off a bit.

Yep, we are about 8 weeks ahead of last year.  We got votes in week 11 and 12 last year.

Texas was not ranked, then beat a ranked ND and ended up at 11... Then now ND loses another game, so Texas #11 maybe was hasty and without merit. It's a strong media bias that Texas beats ND and get a high ranking, Cal then beats Texas about the same exact situation but doesn't get ranked.

The preseason rankings are a little BS.  I still don't think we should be in there yet.  If we aren't top 25 after beating FSU, then I will be pretty angry.
