Since Tom Jones is a USF alumni, he should start by looking in the mirror.

Local writers are too enamored with professional sports they realize we could take attention away from bucs drama and outdraw them in attendance  for big games.

It doesn't matter. All of the pundits are saying Houston doesn't have a chance at the playoff with two highly ranked OOC games because the American is so friggen weak. Our OOC doesn't matter because we don't have a chance to sniff the big time either way. Might as well play cupcakes and win the conference so that we can go to a major bowl game.

Which pundits can you link to saying Houston has no chance? ESPN, SI, and CBS all have Houston in or just on the fringe of the playoffs for week 2. That's exactly where they should be with Alabama, Clemson, FSU, and Ohio State ahead of them.

How's our OOC looking next year?  Sux.  You're talking about games 7 years out.  Look at who our conference mates are playing over the next 5 years and tell me how we stack up

Here's Houston's and ours is easily better.

Temple? Nope. Not even close to ours.

Must have been ECU you were referring to.

Or was it SMU's powerhouse slate of games?

Wait, no. I found it. It was Tulsa's schedule that has you drooling.

She could invite him to a massive ceremony in the USF Sun Dome, and then scream on mic "By the power invested in me by the State University System, I hereby revoke the degree conferred of you of Bachelor! Now if you wish to reenroll, I believe the Oracle is taking applications for positive-minded sportswriters."

Truth hurts guys. 22,000 showed up out of 35,000 tickets sold. Vacant red seats stick out.  If you're mad, be mad at your fellow Bulls who never show up.  Get on the phone now and talk them into going to Saturday's game. I just recruited a few more.

GO BULLS!!!!!

Truth hurts when every other program didn't have butts in seats for every ticket distributed? Actually most not even close but I digress.

This topic is being beat to death. I'm over it at this point. Obviously USF has to follow completely different standards then every other program. Got it.

I love the fact that some of you are getting mad. That shows you're passionate about the Bulls. And trust me, I'm mad as hell too. I've been a diehard fan since 2000. But I'm mad about fans not showing up, not the release of an actual attendance stat. My eyes already told me that stat. Pictures tell a thousand words, and the one I saw from inside the stadium was herds of open red seats, and I'm not talking about the upper deck. The Ray Jay lower bowl seats just over 42,000. 35,000 fans would have filled 83% of those. Instead, we occupied about 53% of the lower bowl. That picture doesn't look good even when you forget about the upper decks.

On the bright side, we're 1-0. Here's to hoping for a much larger showing Saturday.

 As always, GO BULLS!!!!!

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
