Truth hurts guys. 22,000 showed up out of 35,000 tickets sold. Vacant red seats stick out.  If you're mad, be mad at your fellow Bulls who never show up.  Get on the phone now and talk them into going to Saturday's game. I just recruited a few more.

GO BULLS!!!!!

Preach!

I get the feeling attendance will be fine this game.  For as bad as it seems, the truth is, if we have good attendance at this next game most will chalk the first one up to the hurricane and opponent.  People will say we're just fine.

Possibly a positive sign for attendance Saturday? TicketMaster online says "Not Many Left" on tickets for #USF's game vs. Northern Illinois.

So we should be fine this week.

I don't think selling tickets is the problem. We probably wouldn't even be having this conversation if actual attendance wasn't announced.

That wasn't my point. My point was we should have a decent crowd.

Oh I knew what you meant, but we should have also had a decent crowd for the season opener but apparently that wasn't the case.

We had the very definition of a decent crowd for the opener.

I fully agree with you. I thought the crowd was great in person and the environment was very much alive. Also a great student turnout for it. But reporters are thinking otherwise which is a little frustrating.

How's our OOC looking next year?  Sux.  You're talking about games 7 years out.  Look at who our conference mates are playing over the next 5 years and tell me how we stack up

It's all good.  Love the homerism, Go Bulls.

So you cherry picked examples from the entire conference and the best you could do is USF has somewhere between the 2nd and 4th best schedule? I'd say that means we stack up fairly well.

When you're playing in a cavernous stadium that seats 69k+, 1/3rd of the stadium filled doesn't look like a nice crowd. It looks empty. We are fortunate to have RayJay but, we also suffer for it. I stand by the school and point towards the media just being hacks for whatever reason. That doesn't change the visual effect.
