The media guide is always available to the public. Has been for years. The athletic department is totally at fault for not proofing. Reporters report the news, not make it. When a major university puts out garbage like this, it's news. Something needs to happen at USF.

I have read the media guide for more than a decade....there are often spelling, punctuating or formatting errors, but not one bothered my or I felt necessary to take to the internet.  It's the content that matters.  Choosing to try to embarrass an entire institution over something like that is sort of low class in my opinion.

It is, but in this day and age there shouldn't be any spelling errors, unless the misspelled word is an actual word itself.

Attention to detail matters.

Yeah, and in my organization my attention to detail has nothing to do with spelling errors.

 

I believe they farm some of this out to aspiring students to help with.  At least that's what I have heard. 

I'm not condoning releasing any doc with errors, just trying to place the egregiousness of the error into context.
