Both were important parts of our team in 2014, then left the team before 2015 season, likely due to academic reasons.

Would be great to get them back for 2016.

Have heard nothing.  Anyone?

As talented as Swanson was, we have other guys on offense who can move the ball without fumbling. Id still love to have him though. I really feel like getting Calloway back is vastly more important. He was a guy who could really rush the passer up the middle and would set up a dream rotation at DT with Senat, Bronson and Hector. Hamilton is gone right?

Calloway is on track to return from what I've heard.

Calloway is a beast. Should be a nice boost up front. He stood out in 2014.

Where did they both play college ball last year?

Swanson was a great athlete, added a nice flexibility to the backfield. He was young with the fumble junk, it happens, but he made more good plays than fumbles.

They didn't--academics kept them from playing.

Yup.  Hamilton graduated (or soon will).  Good young guys at DT, but depth is needed.

Swanson on the wheel route was our best play in 2014. He'd add another dimension to the 2rb+qf look. Agree on Calloway.

A team can never have enough strong DTs. Hopefully Calloway will make his way back to the playing field in 2016

Based on the 2015 roster the team is in desperate need of aTEs and FBs.  The addition of Bowman Archibald at the TE position and possible addition of Swanson at FB would be  valuable to the team.
