I guess I am getting old. I hate piped in music at CFB. The unique experience is the band and enthusiasm of the fans. The music between plays reminds me of arena football. Hell, at the game at UCONN they actually had a DJ. That is just sad....

Bama has music blasting throughout every game. LSU as well. Its nothing new.

I actually did not know that as I have never heard it on tv for those games.

it seemed like it went long yesterday - there was 1-2 plays in the third quarter where the music cut just as the center snapped the ball.

maybe it was just the fact that they played "put your hands up in the air" over and over and ....

would love to hear the band play the jaws theme.

Maybe I did not notice it before, but is the music between the defensive snaps new?

It makes it hard for the USF players to hear the crowd noise/energy prior to the snap and also makes it hard for the crowd to build to a crescendo.

I would rather hear the band play rather than have piped-in stadium music.

Thoughts?

They play music constantly between plays when HOT is going in and out of the seats.  They even pipe in HOT recordings (recorded from outside of a cave apparently).

Any and ALL noise when we are on defense is good.

Need to bring Rage Against the Machine back. Bulls on Parade!!

They should now and forever use Bulls on Parade..that song/video intro could even get me fired up for Holtz games, until 3 plays in when Justin Brickhouse Kahn would come airball a 25 yard punt after a 3 and out.

But yeah, you do need some stuff that the "young whipper snappers" will get up and dance/make noise to, as the rest of the crowd tends to feed off the student section. Make it fun for them, and win, and even if the music isn't quite your bag, you'll still enjoy it.

Says guy who still has"Party llike a rock star" on his Spotify playlist under "pump up songs" (and Bulls on Parade!)
