Ooooh, open competition at s few positions? Who gives a ****? Does anyone still believe CWT can pick the right guy for a position? Or that being named the starter matters? Taggart shouldn't be allowed to give interviews until the next time he wins a game.

As long as Taggart calls plays it doesn't matter.

After watching the second half of the game that I didn't see Adams and Taggart did us no favors.

What a gem:

“Our guys still don’t know how to win yet,’’ said USF coach Willie Taggart, who dropped to 7-20 at the start of his third season with the Bulls. “The plays were there to be made. We just didn’t execute.

“All in all, we didn’t play winning football. We didn’t make the winning plays.’’

This is what scares me most about CWT: he's like Captain Ahab. "The plan is fine; it's the execution." This is year three and he supposedly "opened things up on offense" but I see very similar things during the MD game that we saw the last two years.

I doubt he listens to anyone on the coaching staff. This course of action leads to one place: unemployment!

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
