Student Section officially named the herd

As somewhat silly as it sounds, I kinda like the idea of putting a name on it.

...so does this mean those sections at RJS will now be called "the pasture"?

Always thought the HOT should be in the end zone. I hope in the future that THE HERD is large enough to move the band to the south end zone.

If only we had our own campus stadium, to truly label that section 'the herd'

HOT used to be in the end zone. They moved them out when the student section grew.

I'm in 121, so I should be able to hear the HOT without any problems now.  Personally, I like the idea of the band being in with the students, especially when we don't fill that endzone like last year.

Hopefully there will be some skinny chicks in there - I can only imagine the jokes from rival fans if not.
