2014: Sawyer saw action in nine games and started two at cornerback in his first season…recorded 11 tackles and forced a fumble on the year…saw his first collegiate action vs. Maryland (9/6) and made his first start at Tulsa (10/18), recording four tackles in that game…has six tackles and forced a fumble at Cincinnati (10/24) …lettered.

At least it is at probably our deepest position.

He was dismissed for academic reasons from USF is what I heard.  They placed him there in hopes that he will return to USF but we know how that goes.  At least it is at the deepest position though.  I don't think this affects the defense too much at all this upcoming season.

Kid has skills, but if he had to go, he had to go.

 

I do think this is an area of depth, without any real studs (meaning obvious NFL talent...yet, but they are young).

He was definitely used during his whole career, after having minor grade issues at the university of south Florida instead of them offering him summer school his foster parents and coach Woodie went behind his back and sent him to a School in Arizona, the foster parents went missing because he was now 18 years of age. After he arriving to Arizona western there was an article that talked about him being the best cornerback in junior college during that time; all while playing in one the toughest conferences. 
A sources that played with Sawyer told us that there was a argument between him and his position coach,  and from the looks of it was just a case of abuse of power. Coach Minnick, head coach for the team that year (2014) couldn’t even give us a explanation on why he was released from the team. So with lots of work we figure out the real reason, story time . One Sunday morning a day after the game Kendall Had been suffering from a minor knee injury The occurred during a part return that he was catching during the game fast for to the day after he was in the gym getting ready to stretch and there was a specific stretch that he couldn’t do he asked to the stretch because he didn’t think he had the stability to thar specific  stretch but the coach insisted that he continue to stretch with the team. A few moments later he asked Coach again can you sit out all of a sudden Coach grew angry told him no and ultimately Was told to exit the gym. Few hours later he has spoken to a few teammates right before class and they had told him that he had been kicked off the team with confusion going through his mind because the coach didn’t say that he will be kicking him off the team during the incident he tried to get in contact with both Coach Minnick and Coach Dominguez neither one of them would not answer or respond. There’s a theory going around saying that the coach main objective was to get Kendall out of the way because there was a cornerback behind Sawyer That goes by the name of Kesien Nixon (raiders, greenbay) coach Dominguez wanted to have first string instead. With Sawyer being a bounce back And Kesien Nixon being fresh out of high school that year; People came to the conclusion that cause coach Dominguez used his power to get Kendall Sawyer out of the way so he could take credit for Kesien  Nixon success. Everyone knows the coaching politics and he chose to get Sawyer out of the way. Sawyer was set to return back to university of south Florida after just one year. People might think well what does that have to do with Coach Dominguez? Well here’s how! Dominguez only had 3 years left to Send A athlete from His position group to a major university so he could build his resume, that information came from a athlete that played for the university as well that very same year. Sources say Dominguez saw sawyer as a “gamble” and saw Nixon as more of someone he could build to help him get to the next level for a higher coaching job. 2 years later Nixon Committed to university of South Carolina and exactly 6 months Later, December 5, 2018 Arizona western university dismissed There entire football program.
