I don't think stacked is the word for it, however, this is a big help especially when pass rush is a weak point right now I would say.  Probably the highest rated O-lineman ever to come out of HS and play for USF so there are big expectations.

Definitely high expectations as this thread demonstrates. Reilly seems to be a pretty mentally strong kid, though, I think he'll work out but the line is only as strong as its weak spot--he can't carry the whole line.

Well adding Gibbons and the JUCO Bethel is huge that's more talent in the tackle spots over what we have had in the past. The guard spots look solid with Gudmundson,Joswiak and Threatt and I guess Ruff will move in center since he was back up last year. Plus we have a lot of young kids that should start to compete for starting jobs.

Bethel is not on the roster, so I'm not sure if he's in or out.  Was hoping he'd have time with the team to learn the offense.

As long as we get Bethel too I'm a lot more optimistic about this offense. We already have the most talented back in the conference who we know will capitalize and help us control the clock. But not getting knocked on his ass every play will be huge for Flowers, he's just going to have to make the most of it.

Our linemen are getting taller, and our QB's shorter.  Yikes.

Our QBs need to learn how play with their tiptoes. It advantages to our shorter RBs. :) Edited by BullAdrian

We all know how a good team with a bad quarterback looks. We gotta find someone without glaring weaknesses at that position or we are doomed.

Well, at least we may have a nice running game this year.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
