  1. Pretty much agree. UCF wins, it looks good for the Conference. If they lose, I don't give a ****
  2. The rest of the AAC needs to win big to make up for the Louisiana Tech-SMU debacle
  3. In training camp, Tyre will be dragging that UCF defender while pushing the sled
  4. Other than using the word "was" instead of "were" on a few occasions, good post. I agree that BJM has been mostly a bright spot....and I don't care what the number say, last year's offense was definitely better.
  5. Kinda like Houston getting walloped by SDSU last year
  6. Skip reminds me of former boxer Kenny Keene
  7. True, and I don't think it will have a huge impact on our recruiting, since Florida is recruited hard by about every team nationwide, but it will have some impact I believe. BTW, I think we do have five 2-star recruits...
  8. http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/21816185/lane-kiffin-florida-atlantic-owls-reach-new-10-year-deal I think he might be at FAU for a few years. He supposedly loves the area. Not much pressure. Wonder how much this puts a dent in our recruiting? Also read that FIU actually has a 4-star recruit...something we don't have as of yet for 2018...
  9. Agree with this. If those threads continue, Tyre should be the guy. Hope DJ tears it up in this game.,..
  10. Thanks NE. So, $2.9 Mil annually for Boise, and about 1.1 for all other MW teams. I still wouldn't mind getting Boise (without the special deal), and BYU, although Aresco said in that Pod Cast something along the lines of he doesn't see any value in expanding. Wouldn't mind booting Tulane, who has Conference USA written all over them, and maybe Tulsa, and adding two of these three: BYU, Colorado State, or Boise. That would give this P6 thing a little more momentum I think.
  11. Whatever it was, Aresco said no to them for that reason. It was also mentioned that the AAC has had around 40 games in the last three years that hit 1 Million viewers. Not bad.
  12. He said that Boise State asked for a "special deal" upon entering our conference, and that the special deal was already in place in the Mountain West, which was frustrating other members of that conference. Any idea what the details of the special deal are?
  13. Kiffin is showing as only having two commits so far, which is a really low number at this point in the process. Not sure he's used to recruiting at this level?
  14. Agreed, and this is why I'm ok whether he decides to stay or go. We all know he can recruit, and I think we'll always have some success with him here, but he is boring, and he isn't a great fit. I do think that we can have a good year in 2018 with decent QB play. Definitely better than the 6-6 team that some in here are expecting...
  15. Wonder if somebody working in the studio is an alum?
  16. I was just wondering if the Temple-Navy CCG from last year out-did the bottom four conferences combined. I doubt it, but not sure.
  17. Wow. This is the guy I wanted us to hire when Taggart left, or in the case of Strong being hired away. He has proven to be a great recruiter. Wonder if he will keep the GCO in place at Oregon...
  18. Man, that game was just horrendous to watch. I thought we were going to suck this year after watching that. Makes me OK with the 9-2 record.
  19. Except, people constantly mix it up with UCF. Even our own in-stadium announcers do it
  20. Would be good entertainment watching him running the last 30 seconds of the half off the clock from the 1 yard line, with 3 timeouts, then settling for a FG with 1 second left....or punting from the opponents 30 yard line on 4th and inches on national TV.
  21. I knew what you were talking about, just pointed out that they lost to FIU on another occasion, and just wanted to throw Cristobal's name out there, as I think he could work out well for us. BTW, that FIU team beat Louisville and UCF in back to back weeks...
