Don't want to see a repeat of the '07 pooping of the bed IIRC, we did our defecating mid-season, which is something that seems to have been corrected with xCWT. The new staff are no strangers to being ranked and how to handle that, so I'm sure they will keep the players focused on the task and not the ink. Yes, and honestly we don't have any Florida States or auburns on the schedule. This is purely a season where the team and roster are more talented than the majority of our conference mates and with a senior QB. Do we have to replace major bookends on the OL, our best RB in school history and probably the best WR in history? Yes and that's terrifying with a brand new staff. However, we do have hungry players who want to step up. As long as the players can buy in to what CCS, CSG and CBJM are selling we all love our chances. One game at a time. My only fear is QF doesn't have the same relationship with the new staff and that affects gameplay. I'm hoping the staff isn't dumb enough to not listen to him. I'm kind of hoping the new staff knows more than he does. If they don't, they're not going to last long.

The good news is that Atterbury and Norman both played significant time as starters this year. It would have been convenient if Knox and Gibbons had made sure they could stick around right? Christion Gainer and Michael Wiggs redshirted this year, I think, so they'll be in line for the rotation this year. From 2015's class, we have Norman, Atterbury, and Cam Campbell if he's still on the roster. From 2014, we just have Michael Smith and Galati (not sure if they're still on the roster). It should have been Bethel, Knox, Norman, and Atterbury as the main guys in the tackle rotation, but you can't cry over spilt milk.

QF knows more about the offensive playmakers and their capabilities, and probably the overall personnel of the team than Charlie Strong does, right now, anyway. Good thing CCS and staff have 2/3 of a year to increase the knowledge they have, and install whatever new offense they plan on running. I'm not too worried about what CCS does or doesn't know in Jan. of 2017. I'm more worried about what he knows or doesn't know in August.
