You guys jump to "hate" quickly as if a different opinion is hate.

My comments regarding Judy have nothing to do with anything other than being responsible for the boob that left. Not her performance as a University President as a whole. And there certainly is not an ounce of hate.

The confusion, at least from my end, comes from it appeared you blamed JG for us being in the AAC ... which is what this thread is about.

Maybe I'll re-read. Or, could you quote that for me?

I don't think I used the word blame. But, she was el capitan at the time, right? I think I said something similar to that. El capitan with the Leavitt/Woolard mess(es).

External forces don't remove her from the equation. We've had this discussion before.

Judy was a big part of the reason the Big East turned down the TV contract from ESPN. That was the beginning of the end of big time football at USF.

Right, because you read it on that Internets ... and she singlehandedly kept out UCF back then, too, when they could have been the BE savior. smh

During the AAC discussion where you posted the RIP pic, you posted this:

It is what it is. We got genshafted.

Maybe it was aimed strictly at football but really couldn't tell what you were responding to .... and as far as the el capitan thing, absolutely she has been the USF Grand Poobah during all this conference expansion we haven't been part of, but there's been absolutely nothing presented that showed she's had any culpability at all for us not being invited up to this point.

Yeah, a play on words that I stole from someone else. Thought it was funny.

But yeah, her allowing Dougie to operate incompetently could be considered getting genshafted. :)

Yeah, funny stuff .... whatever .... just clarifying that this "incompetence" JG supposedly allowed from DW has had no bearing on our current conference affiliation .... and getting genshafted, for the most part, has been a very positive experience for USF.

Getting genshafted outside of Athletics isn't really the issue. I agree though, in her non-athletic domain, we haven't been genshafted - assuming we agree on the term.

But you're wrong. She has a hand in everything Athletics. It's part of the gig.

UCF uses this term all the time and is probably the one who thought of it. Don't be UCF.
