I saw that, I was hoping to see who else was currently recruiting him. Love to see who we beat out for kids.

There is a thread on him on the recruiting board. You might find more current info there. I came across some current offers on the internet some days ago, but I don't remember exactly who they were from right now. If you are really interested, you can find them.

Texas A&M freshman guard Shawn Smith has been ruled a partial qualifier and thus will be ineligible to play this season, coach Billy Kennedy said Saturday.

 

Smith, a 6-4 native of Jacksonville, Fla., will be allowed to remain on scholarship and practice with the Aggies but won’t be allowed to play until the fall of ’13 as a redshirt freshman. He will have four years of eligibility remaining.

 

He has had a wild ride to Texas A&M. He first committed to Central Florida in January of 2011 but then later switched to Missouri in August of 2011. He changed his mind again in March of this year, when he signed with Texas A&M.
