Honestly, I'd rather them be a 7 seed in Tallahassee, though it's for selfish reasons (I'd love to go to a game, and Tally's a LOT closer than Tempe.

If fsu beats nd tomorrow could fsu jump nd for a 1 seed or is fsu too far out of the 1 slot

Not a chance in hell. They wouldn't even make it to a #2. Mainly because of their OOC schedule - their BEST ooc win is against freaken Tulane. Every other OOC opponent is in triple digits except Washington, which they lost.

Is there another ranking out before they set the brackets? Would be nice for us to earn another number next to our name throughout the tournament...

Check this note at the bottm:

• That wild-card spot pairing with the Cardinals belongs to South Florida for now. To accommodate bracketing principles, the Bulls had to be procedurally moved from a No. 6 seed (No. 24 overall) to a No. 7 seed. That shift allowed them to be in a position to join Louisville's subregional, and as the next highest seed that submitted a host bid, the Bulls would be the host.

Fingers crossed, would be nice!

And as soon as I write that, I show how stupid I am. Charlie Creme has them as a solid #2

This would be VERY nice. And we actually have a chance against UL, we're 4-26 lifetime.

UL lost twice to FSU this season, including last night by 15 points.

Yeah... Who do we have to pay off to make this a possibility?

We want Ohio State to beat Maryland tonight. They did not submit a bid to host the opening round games and would be at least a 4 seed with a win, creating a 2nd wild card host spot to go along with the one that will be in Louisville's sub-regional.
