My mother was very proud of me before she passed on.
 
My father continues to be very proud of me.
 
I don't understand being excited because a former USF player was able to high five an NFL player during a game.  We have other players actually playing and playing well in the NFL.  We should celebrate them instead.

Then rather than piss on someone's post who thought it was cool seeing Daniels on the sideline in the NFCCG, why not celebrate those other USF players still playing ...... and playing the dead mother card is weak sauce.

I agree that would be pretty lame. I think the excitement was more that he had battled his way up from the practice squad to being in uniform. Not that he is the most successful USF player in history or the best player on the field but it was  huge personal accomplishment for him and those of us who enjoyed seeing him play at USF are happy to see his work ethic rewarded.
