Welp. RT @Eric_Branch #49ers have also released secondary coach Ed Donatell and LB coach Jim Leavitt from their contracts, per source.

The Orlando school would let him do more than hit a player

JL will land somewhere, he also must have excellent connections which is about 95% of getting an assistant coach position.

No official announcement yet, but Tomsula and Rathman are apparently the only two to stay. So where does The Jim end up next?

I read the article but I don't understand why you conclude that CJL is to be fired. The DC is leaving and the DL coach is now the head coach, so there appears to be room for him to stay at he same position or even move up.

Headlines say it all. http://blog.sfgate.com/49ers/2015/01/15/source-49ers-have-fired-fangio-donatell-and-leavitt/

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
