Leavitt was a fair-to-middlin' play caller.

Rod Smith was the play caller for voodoo five I believe. Remember, Leavitt was a defensive coach. He would more manage the offensive game than call the plays.

What’s worth noting is the number of people on this thread that have vanished from USF fandom - and that was only a few years ago!

Then what exactly are they fan of? A sport? That seems to be a whimp clause in the fandom contract. You are either in or out and if one can’t stay around during the bad times then they are not really fans (we refer to them as the “pink hat” crowd up here). To exacerbate this relative to USF, many of those who left us over the years probably went over to the flavor of the month team or back to the original three...while still owning a degree from USF. I can only wish pain, unhappiness, and humiliation to those people as they move through life as they have sold their soul for immediate gratification. Go USF Football! Forever and always! 🤘
